The United Kingdom is boosting its delivery of drones to the frontline.
In Kyiv, British Defense Minister Grant Shapps announced that the United Kingdom is increasing funding to £325 million (almost $420 million) for the purchase of over 10,000 drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Grant Shapps noted that the democratic world must make sure Ukraine wins this war.

British Defense Minister also emphasized that drones are changing the course of the war in Ukraine. That’s why the UK is boosting its delivery of drones to the frontline – upping its commitment from £200m to £325m.

“By doing so the UK will get over 10,000 new drones to Ukraine and remain Ukraine’s largest drone supplier,” said Grant Shapps.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov expressed gratitude for the comprehensive support from the United Kingdom.
“I am grateful for all your personal efforts aimed at assisting Ukraine in the fight for our common values and global security. We are unbreakable when united,” noted Rustem Umerov.
During a joint meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, and the Chief of the Defense Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin, the Ukrainian Defense Minister also expressed gratitude for the UK’s comprehensive support, particularly for providing Storm Shadow missiles that truly make change on the battlefield.
“The UK is continuously persuading the free world to do what’s right. Together, we are proving that democracy can win against autocracy,” emphasized Rustem Umerov.
