Matthew Miller reported on discussions between the United States and NATO regarding support for Ukraine.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg the support to Ukraine, as informed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller stated that Antony Blinken and Jens Stoltenberg discussed mechanisms to enhance NATO’s political and practical support to Ukraine.
“Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Secretary Blinken and Secretary General Stoltenberg discussed preparations for the upcoming NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting, particularly mechanisms to enhance NATO’s political and practical support to Ukraine. The Secretary and the Secretary General also discussed NATO priorities for the Washington Summit, which will mark the Alliance’s 75th Anniversary”, said Matthew Miller.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the United States for their support and assistance.
