Drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate shot down the Russian large amphibious assault ship Caesar Kunikov. It happened in the Black Sea on the morning of Wednesday, February 14.
According toUkrayinska Pravda, citing informed interlocutors in the GUR, the Russian ship sank as a result of the successful attack.
“Sources of the UP reported that it was a GUR operation, as a result of the attack, the Caesar Kunikov sank,” the publication writes.
However, there is no official comment yet. The Russians are also silent about the attack.
Explosions in Crimea on February 14 – the latest news
As reported, the morning of February 14 in Crimea began alarmingly. Local publics reported that machine-gun bursts were heard near the village of Simeiz, Yalta district.
“Crimean Wind reported that explosions were heard at sea around 7 a.m., but no missiles were launched. According to one eyewitness, a Russian ship was attacked.
Subsequently, an unclear video appeared showing something burning in the sea. Residents of the village of Katsiveli felt a strong shock wave. Probably, the ammunition of the hit ship exploded. Another ship approached to rescue the sinking vessel, and a submarine was also seen nearby.
