One more country will join the Drone Coalition

Canada will join the Drone Coalition.

Canada will become the ninth participating country in the Drone Coalition, as became known during the visit of the Latvian Minister of Defense, Andris Sprūds, to Ottawa on March 7th. The coalition сo-leaders are Latvia, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine, as informed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Defense Katerina Chernogorenko expressed gratitude to Canada for its unwavering support of Ukraine.

“We thank Canada for its unwavering support of Ukraine. The expansion of the Drone Coalition will help address our battlefield tasks. We continue to call on partners to join the Drone Coalition. Our goal remains unchanged – to attract $1.5 billion for financing Ukrainian drone production,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense Katerina Chernogorenko.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented to military attaches of partner countries the vision for the development of the Drone Coalition. The priority goals remain supporting Ukrainian production and creating software solutions for the military in the shortest possible time.

It is worth reminding that the Drone Coalition officially started within the work of the Defense Contact Group of Ukraine. Previously, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden joined it.
