Mykhailo Fedorov told about the mass production of robotic ground platforms in Ukraine.
The Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced the launch of the mass production of robotic ground platforms in Ukraine. Brave1 tested more than 50 complexes on the range. The testing involved kamikaze platforms, turrets, platforms that destroy Russian positions and equipment, mine, demine, evacuate the wounded, and deliver ammunition to positions.
“The robots have successfully demonstrated themselves on the range, and in a few months, they will be on the battlefield – hundreds of different platforms will be purchased through UNITED24. We continue to develop innovations so that the Armed Forces can procure them.
The main goal of ground robots is to minimize human involvement on the battlefield. This will help save the lives and health of Ukrainian soldiers. Ground robotic complexes will become the next game-changer in this war, just like drones. This is an asymmetric response to the enemy’s numerical advantage.
The Brave1 cluster is doing everything to scale up robot production, and the state is beginning to procure them massively. The path we have traveled with UAVs, we are now going through with robotic platforms. Our task is to produce and improve innovations for the Armed Forces and to create comfortable conditions for manufacturers.
More than 140 robotic systems are registered on the Brave1 platform, 96 of which have passed defense expertise, and 14 developments have been codified according to NATO standards. Some of these robots are already working on the front lines, such as the ShaBlya turret,” said Mykhailo Fedorov.
