Instructors from Great Britain, as part of the multinational training operation INTERFLEX, taught Ukrainian soldiers to storm an urban area and clear buildings. The training took place at one of the British training facilities, where an urbanized area is realistically reproduced: multi-story private houses, mini-hotels, vegetable gardens, utility rooms, fences, and enclosures.
Under the leadership of the British instructors, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine learned to advance house by house, choose the right positions for fire control, use grenades and smoke grenades, rescue and evacuate the wounded soldiers, and act harmoniously in group operations.
Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the situation on the front. The reporting order to the commanders was determined so that they always had up-to-date information and monitored the situation on-site.
In the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reminds that in addition to the military from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the best instructors from Australia, Denmark, Canada, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Estonia, New Zealand, Norway, Finland, and Sweden are also training the Ukrainian army.
